Zafferano freezes out competition for festive pop up

Ice Rink Natural History Museum

Award winning London based caterer, Zafferano has been awarded the contract to operate the catering offering at the Natural History Museum Ice Rink. Awarded the 2-year deal by IMG UK Ltd, the organisation that manages the Ice Rink on behalf of the Natural History Museum, Zafferano will oversee all food and drink choices at the Museum’s London landmark.
Open from 4th November – 8th January 2012, tens of thousands of visitors are expected at the Ice Rink, which is set against the backdrop of the historic Museum and decorated with 76,000 twinkling fairy lights, creating the perfect winter location. The café will be open to all visitors of the Ice Rink as well as being available to hire privately for Christmas parties and corporate events with packages due to be announced shortly.
The two storey pop up, managed by the noted party caterer will feature an Alpine Ski Resort menu with ‘Apres Skate’ favourites to include indulgent hot chocolate with rum and/or whipped cream, authentic Bratwurst with mustard, wholesome soups and Belgian waffles served warm with chocolate, cream, or Maple syrup and toasted almonds for the sweet toothed.
