Decorations

  •  Decorate your “castle” with pastel streamers and balloons.
  • If you want to take it even further, you can easily make some “torches” to decorate the walls and make it look like the inside of a castle. These can be made by rolling up some brown or black construction paper into a cone and stuffing it with some red and yellow tissue paper to make flames.
  • Construction paper can also be sued to make custom “coat of arms” or “family crests” to decorate your home as well. These are great projects for your child to help with before the party.
  • To decorate the party table, you can make ordinary chairs more elegant by covering the seat back with a piece of fabric and then tying a bow around it with a length of tulle. The table can be set with a pastel table cloth and pastel colored plates, cups and napkins.

Princess Birthday Party Favors

Children love going home at the end of a party with some take home gifts. If you have provided some crafts for the party, keep in mind that these are favors as well. Some good items to include in gift bags for a princess party are:
  • princess stickers
  • bubble wands
  • sunglasses,
  • necklaces, rings and bracelets.
Wrap any of these in a pretty organza bag and the princesses will be tickled pink with their treasures to take home!  Check out all our princess party ideas!
