Egypt is one of those countries where tourism plays a big part in
employment and its economy. With the recent political events, tourists
haven't been fully convinced to return to the Pyramids country. The
Financial Times announced at the end of May
that the average occupancy rate in hotels has dipped to 35% and April
saw a loss of $2B in terms of tourism revenue compared to last year.
Let's hope this occupancy goes up every month looking forward.
