Print At Home – Invitations, Greeting Cards And More!

Looking for an easy way to print at home?  With the PurpleTrail Design Center you can do just that!  You can print your own greeting cards, invitations, thank you notes, birthday cards, and cards for any occasion!  It’s easy to do and very affordable. 

Size.   We currently offer our printed cards in two sizes.  4×6 inch postcards and 5.5×8.5 inch folded cards.  Either of these cards can be portrait or landscape orientation.  When you view one of our print card designs you can see what size of card it has been designed for.  The size is listed in the card details.  If you would like a design to be changed to a different card type, you can do this by personalizing the card in the PurpleTrail Design Center.  After you open the card for personalization, click to change the design type.

 

Tools. The PurpleTrail Design Center is easy to use.  You can modify and personalize any design within PurpleTrail.  Just select the design you would like to use and then click the “personalize” button.  This will open the design in the PurpleTrail Design center.  You can change any part of the design that you like and add your own photos and text.  When you have made all your changes, click “save and exit”.  Your design is then ready to be used for your online or printing needs.

Options. If you wish to start from scratch, you can use the PurpleTrail Design Center to create your own design using our library of thousands of backgrounds and embellishments.  You can even upload your own photos and images to use for the design. To get started, click on the “Start with a blank design” button on the design gallery pages and you will be directed to the PurpleTrail Design Center to get started.
Print.Once you finish your design, you can select the print at home option for printing.  There are two ways to download your design.   If you are a member of the PurpleTrail Club, you’ll receive free Print at Home downloads with your club membership.  The number of downloads available depends on the membership level purchased.  For more information, visit the PurpleTrail Club Membership information page.  You can also pay per download and purchase a single download at a time.  The cost is $3.95 for each.   Once you purchase the design, it’s yours to use as many times as you need.  You can access any of your purchase in your orders history tab.
Order.After you have approved your design and are ready to click the “place my order now button” your print is generated within seconds into a downloadable pdf.  The pdf that you download will be in high resolution of 300 dpi.  This will provide excellent print quality for any type of printing needs.

Pdf.The pdf size will vary based on what type of design you order.  If you order a postcard design, your pdf will be two pages – the front and back of the postcard.  The size of each page will be 4×6 inches.  This makes it easy to print on 4×6 size paper or cardstock.  You can also easily print your postcard on larger size paper and cut it down to size.

If you order a folded card design, your pdf will be 2 pages.  The front and back of the card will be on one page, and the inside of the card will be on the other.  This makes it easy to print on standard 8.5×11 inch paper or cardstock.  Simply print one page of the pdf on one side of the piece of paper, and then print the other page of the pdf on the backside of the paper.  Once it is printed, simply fold the paper in half and your cards are done!
