Showforce has supported Star Events Group Ltd (SEGL) with three of their most prestigious event contracts, in the north of England, this August. Three teams of their event crews have worked alongside them at this year’s V Festival (Stafford), Creamfields and the Liverpool International Music Festival.
SEGL, experts in designing and engineering purpose built structures used Showforce’s stage crew to assist them with the build of their VerTech stages and site structures across the three festivals in Stafford, Daresbury and Liverpool.
Becky Meers, Showforce’s northern divisional manager said: “Our northern division has been supplying crew to SEGL for their events in the north for 5 years. We have a good understanding of their requirements and an experienced team of event crew, ensuring that they can rely on us to provide them with the skills that they need.”
Pete Holdich, SEGL’s head of staging, supported this stating: “Having worked with Showforce for many years now we are familiar with their key staff members, both in the back office and out on site. The benefit of having regular faces who also know our people, methods and equipment cannot be underestimated.”
He continued: “With one of the busiest periods of the summer event calendar upon us their teams have become a key resource in supporting our operation at major festivals. The support from Becky and the Liverpool site teams; headed by Phil Oswald has been invaluable in delivering stages and structures to these world class events.”
Nearly 200 crew members clocked up 2352 man hours over 26 days across the three events.
