Ginger
is fantastically aromatic when warmed and this Hot Ginger Toddy is a
great example. There are quite a few different ways to get this same
taste and most of the older recipes involve ginger syrup, which is great, but the new Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur has made this toddy
even easier to make. As all of the Hot Ginger Toddy recipes indicate,
bourbon is the preferred whiskey because it seems to be the best
compliment to the ginger.

Yield: 1 Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 oz bourbon whiskey
- 1/2 oz ginger liqueur
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Hot water
Preparation:
- In an Irish coffee glass pour the liquor, honey and lemon.
- Top with hot water.
- Stir.
