Bengaluru International Airport gets International Convention Centre

The Karnataka Government has approved a Rs. 250 Crore investment for an international convention centre near Bengaluru International airport.
The project is expected to be ready before June 2012 with core components like main convention hall, exhibition hall and food court. Spread across 35 acres of land, the total cost of the project is expected to be Rs. 250 crore wherein both the State Government and Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board will share the cost equally.
